About this Zine

This illustrated zine is a small, friendly guide to living a better and more mindful life. Through a series of fact-based tips, it touches on everyday topics like moving your body, sleeping well, reducing screen time, reading, journaling, and taking care of yourself without aiming for perfection.

The reader is guided through the zine by two characters — a curious frog and a laid-back duck — who add humor, warmth, and personality to each page. The visual style is playful and cartoon-like, while the content stays grounded in real, practical advice that can be applied to everyday life.

This zine doesn’t try to provide perfect solutions or deep scientific breakdowns. Instead, it scratches the surface of different topics, with the hope of inspiring readers to explore them further in their own way. Small steps matter, and doing something is always better than doing nothing.

Created as part of the Digital Illustration course, this project focuses on developing a personal visual style, visual storytelling, and translating informative content into an illustrated, approachable format.
